Golden Seeds (fenugreek)
A close-up carpet of golden-brown fenugreek (*methi*) seeds, each angular little stone catching warm light. Simple, tactile and warm — a celebration of the South Asian spice box. Fun fact: Fenugreek seeds smell faintly of maple syrup thanks to a compound called sotolon — eat enough and it can even make your skin smell sweet, a quirk sometimes noticed in new mothers who take it to boost milk supply.
