Reaching for the Reflection

A rhesus macaque hangs from an overhanging branch to drink, seen from the side with its reflection stretching into the dark water. A graceful, gravity-defying moment. Fun fact: Water holes are social hubs for macaque troops — youngsters play at the edges while adults drink, and the reflective surface sometimes triggers curious double-takes from the monkeys themselves.
